_ Ever think about what might happen when a dedicated bachelor and an overweight woman take off for a year of traveling around the world?  That is we set out to do, and the bookexplores the evolution of our relationship as we journey through Asia.

We have visited over a hundred countries and are experienced travelers; I worked for many years on cruise ships and my husband George spent two years in Paraguay as a Peace Corps volunteer.

This is a travel tale and a journey of love, transformation and dreams. Our lady protagonist is 39, overweight, lonely, and sure she will never find her prince, or even a half-decent frog. Our guy is a confirmed bachelor who just wants to travel. He cannot admit that his dream includes the desire for a partner with whom to share the adventure.  Meanwhile, our Cinderella does not sleep in the fireplace with the ashes but does ignore the hero's first attempt at contact. Fortunately an angel of the online dating site sends her profile to him again. With the second email, she takes a leap and responds.  Before she takes another breath they have arrived in Asia.

The bookrecounts the progress of our journey as a team, as we learn to communicate while cementing a relationship, and describes how we give up old lifestyles, including ice cream for breakfast, the single life, toilet paper, and a complete mess of American cultural clutter.
